WHAT IS EMBROIDERY?
Embroidery can be used for a variety of applications such as apparel, hats and bags.
Thread is ‘stitched’ in a variety of colours directly to the product.
The end result is a very professional look for your business.
Your logo or image can be sent to us in the following electronic formats: .jpeg, .bmp, .ai, .eps or .pdf.
We begin by taking your logo or name and “digitizing” the artwork.
This is the specialised process of converting two dimensional artwork into stitches.
Your design may contain as many as fifteen colours.
You can select virtually any colour. Generally, if you provide us a PMS (Pantone Matching System)
Number, we can match the thread very closely. Please advise us if you need an exact match in colour.
There is an initial cost (set-up fee) to “digitize” your artwork. Once that is completed there is
a “run-charge” for each item. As long as the artwork remains the same size, you can continue to use the same digitized artwork for future jobs.
Pricing is also based upon the number of stitches. As you can imagine, the more stitches that are involved in your artwork, the longer the production time and the more thread is used.
A basic logo on a cap or shirt will generally run about 7,600 stitches. Once you provide us with artwork we can give you an estimate of cost.
Once you approve your artwork, your job goes into production.
We can produce embroidered pieces in just about any size. Do keep in mind that small type fonts are difficult to reproduce. Generally, we like to have letters at least 5mm tall. Also, if you have a very large logo it may sag or even become difficult to wear.
Many of our prices include embroidery of your logo. However, if the price of the item you
have selected does not include embroidery you can estimate your embroidery charges below.
